MapPoint asp.net VB How to catch a click?

Please help
I want to show a mapPoint map on a web page with say thumbtacks or some othe
r marker to show where a location is. When the user clicks on that location
I want to take some data associated with that location (i.e. A FK into anoth
er DB or just say a unique ID and the name of that location) and load that
info (client side) into check box list.
Problem is How do i catch the click?

controls that expose themselves to the event processing model.
I would say you need to study the MapPoint SDK to determine
what -- if anything -- you can do with markers.
