Mapping an IIS Application

Hi,

http://scottwater.com/dottext/category/1074.aspx

I have a feeling that I am not doing this correctly. Can someone explain to me how I would go about accomplishing this "Map an IIS application to the DottextWeb folder (must name it DottextWeb - C:\Dottext\DottextWeb) "

I have also played around with the Virtual setup but all I get with that is "File Does Not Exsist" It might be due to the fact that I do not have the directory configured correctly...

Thanks, OGHSUse the Internet Services Manager. Right click on the Default Web Site. Choose New | Virtual directory, then follow the steps to map to your C:\Dottext\DottextWeb.
That is exactly what I did and I keep on getting "A blog matching the location you requested was not found. Host = [xp], Application = [default.aspx]"

From what all I have read on the site, I should be getting something else for the default.aspx. I just do not get whats going, and when I try to set it up for virtual I get "File Does Not Exsist" any ideas ?

Thanks, OGHS
Have you followed the directiosn to setup an entry in your blog_config table in SQL Server?
Yes, I have unless there is something that I have missed... I just reset everything up and now I am getting "A blog matching the location you requested was not found. Host = [localhost], Application = [default.aspx]"

Any ideas on why I am getting default.aspx ??

Thanks, OGHS
